There are 4 main pillars crucial to the International Voluntary Service (IVS) movement. Beside the networks and IVS organisations, local community that hosts the project, international volunteers that participate in it, the connecting thread are – the workcamp leaders.

Workcamp leaders are volunteers able to trigger a process of intercultural learning through a meaningful project of public interest in a local community, and thus durably change the vision on the world of those who pass through the workcamps they coordinate.

The web documentary “Diary of a camp leader” is dedicated to them. It is produced by Cro.M.A. Cross Media Action, one of 13 partners in the consortium of the XCHANGE project, supported by funds of KA2 under Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission.
